    Default C.S.B. Sight

Can anybody tell me what the following entry from my grandfather's logbook means?

"Finding wind speed and direction on C.S.B. sight"

The year is 1930, the plane is a Vickers Victoria, the place is RAF Hinaidi.

I asked my ex RN Navigator husband but he couldn't think but as he was in submarines I think we'll let him off.
