    Default Grave of Polish ace

    Hello,

I'm looking for somebody who is living near Cinderford, Gloucestershire. There is a grave of Polish ace Grzegorz Sologub on St Peters RC church cemenatry (I have no more details of the grave). I need the picture of this grave so it will very nice when somebody would help me with it. I'm living in Poland so makeing this picture by myself is rather difficult...

    Regards,

    Greg

    Default Cinderford churches

    Greg
Do you mean in Gloucester itself ?

There is a St Peter's RC church in London Rd, Gloucester GL13EX but I couldn't find any RC churches in Cinderford on google .I'll try ringing the presbytery at St Peter's RC church Gloucester to ask.

Cinderford is west of Gloucester .

Do you have details of his death ?

    Hello,

aestorm and Pete - thanks for the quick answer.
I have not too much informations about Sologub's death. I know it's happened in the early 80. The information I have is he lived in an area called Wigpool in Gloucestershire before his death. He was the owner of farm in this area colled Coopers Kiln.

    Regards,

    Greg

The Catholic Church in Cinderford is Our Lady Of Victories.

You can get their contact details here:

St. Anthony's on Belle Vue Road is actually a convent school.

    Default Cemetery

    Greg
I rang someone [the priest ?] at St Peter's RC church in Gloucester. He told me that since the reformation, in the time of Henry V111 , that Catholic churches do not have their own cemeteries !? He also said that this St Peters was the only Catholic church, of that name, in Gloucestershire. There is communal cemetery on Coney Hill, Gloucester.

The Sologub family [as Dennis' private message] still at Coopers Kiln Farm may be able to help with the correct cemetery ?
