    Hi Alex,

The Blenheim is V6193 OM-W of 107 Squadron, lost 4 July 1941 during a daylight raid to Bremen. Other photos of this wreck have previously appeared on EBay, including one showing part of the serial.
Oddly it seems this Blenheim carried a crew of four, as per Chorley and the AIR 81 index. However the 107 Sqn. ORB only records three ! According to Graham Warner in 'THE BRISTOL BLENHEIM' W/O Magee was the Station Armament Officer who went along for 'experience'.

    Regards,

    Martin Gleeson.

    Hello

Thanks Martin for clarification. I was considering a May or June 1940 loss, as I have a keen interest in the Squadron. It's good to have positive ID. Good detective show !

There's a clearer photo, plus details, on the IWM website:

Frank Wellburn had been married only a few days prior to the crash.
