    Just went through the document, no mention of anyone with the surname Baker as a recipient of the Military Cross. (Jan 1. 1915 MC recipients list)

    Alfred Clifford Baker is not in the 1921 Canadian census, so move to USA may be correct, especially after findings of Air Board inquiry.
    Still, the war record does not seem to me to match up with what the press reported.
    I now think the actual Air Board report may be the only way to resolve this, assuming it exists in the archives in Ottawa.
    I agree that American Aeronautics sounds fishy.

    I just went through the 1920 Air Force Lists. A.C.Baker appears as a Captain in the March 1920 issue but after that, he disappears.
