W/O Eyres (Not W/O Byers!) Challenge Overcome

I am pleased to say that I've now definitely found this elusive chap. He was Ronald Eyres, whose service number was 655044, as confirmed by his son - with whom I am now in regular contact.

This would not have been possible without the wonderful assistance of Resmoroh and Col Bruggy of this parish, Mike Connock of the No.50 & No.61 Squadron Association, and Ray Gregg in Australia.

Now, who was F/O Thomas Henry Boswell (947793 / 163153)? I can't seem to find out much about him, either........
