TNA (National Archives UK) News Updates

For the past few days I have been unable to access The National Archive website. Anyone else having this problem?

The TNA has been cutting out at midnight here in OZ for the last two nights. No warning, I think it's them tinkering with the new site.

Yup thista. Desktop W10. MS Edge. Suspect their servers are running at 99.9%. Occasionally they go to 100.1% - which is when you can't get 'em!

Looks like they're having a re-design, or a tweaking at least. It's been a bit hit and miss for a few days now.

When I can actually get it to work, I can't log in to my account, so no freebies for me at the moment...

I got in yesterday afternoon (11/7/2020), it was a bit sluggish but I did notice a few cosmetic changes. My visit was brief to only look at one file so I couldn't tell if the was a problem. Today, however, it is not responding at all. Probably be back up later today or tomorrow.

Managed to get in again today to download some more ORBs, but it has been a challenge over the last week or so. I really do wish they would be slightly forthcoming with alerts and updates. Hey ho!

SERVICE DISRUPTION We are experiencing intermittent disruption to Discovery, our catalogue. We are working to resolve the issue.

Same as you all for the last 5 or 7 days. Unable to sign in. Often get "runtime error".

I hate to say 'me too', but it is so. The site home page opens but Discovery search does not work. Therefore it is safe say TNA website is currently out of service.
