Hi all, one long shot - I am trying to decode the unit which I have read on a letter from 1942 where the sender is not fully readable, I was only able to decode:

... No. 16 Area ... Ipswich

The letter reports low flying so my idea is that the reporting officer may be member of the RAF Police in Ipswich?
