    Default CTBA-Service records file

I found this site at Library and Archives Canada for Military Abbreviations used in Service Files.
    https://www.bac-lac.gc.ca/eng/discov...iations.aspx#c
I looked for the term CTBA and no joy. The term is used occasionally in his file pertaining to movement from one unit to the next, in this case moving from #18 EFTS at Fairoaks to Coastal Command 224 Squadron at St. Eval and back to Fairoaks.

Any idea what this means? I've searched other online glossaries for Commonwealth Countries with no joy.

Edit: This was a Temporary Duty assignment to St. Eval.

Thanks Malcolm. That makes sense in the context of the records.

This phrase also used internally on documentation by RNZAF in WW2, but fortunately spelled out in full (not abbreviated).
