Chris Hobson has
Killed in a glider accident during training for Air Training Corps Cadets.
Hello
The National Probate Calendar records that he died at R.N. Sick Quarters, Grappenhall, Cheshire. Contemporary newspaper reports record that he was chief flying instructor with 187 Gliding School, North West Command A.T.C., and that the crash took place at R.N.A.S. Stretton. The glider is reported as a 'Kirby Cadet' in one article.
