TOWSE, Edwin Arthur - He was home on leave from No 4 wing, No 6 School of Technical Training when he was thrown off his motor cycle along with the pillion passenger, as they travelled between Christ's Hospital and Itchingfield the previous day. The passenger was only shaken but Towse died in hospital from his injuries.
