Default Large Number Unaccounted 6 June 1944 - Palestine

The following 6 individuals are unaccounted for 6 June 1944 on Alamein Memorial, Egypt

Unless they were all in a ship - I assume this is the crew of an aircraft - But which one?

As all Sgts and 1 P/O I assume akso an aircraft crew

    Sergeant Bernard Edward Bridger
    Sergeant Alan Robert Docker
    Pilot OfficerDonald Pemberton Coltart
    Sergeant George Basil Wright
    Sergeant Edward Ernest William Raddan
    Sergeant ArnoldPearson

There Unit is listed Qastina, Palestine - But RAF Qastina, Palestine supposedly did not open till 1945

The date of loss is an issue as it is D Day and that hinders google searches

All I can find out is that

Raddan was Missing according to newspaper and is marked Died or Since 6 June 1944' Probate

Can anyone suggest an aircraft for this crew - Its probably the largest number of unknowns we have for a probable aircraft loss

    Thanks Paul
