Off topic request - any former RAF FEs here?

I would like to hear (off-board if members prefer) from any former FE among members/guests. Preferably WWII, but in fact it does not matter which period/aircraft.

The only living F/E of whom I’m was Stan Instone, who died last May. I am in regular contact with my father’s navigator from WWII.
