    Default K. Stanaway - Navigator

I'm seeking information on Kenneth Stanaway? I don't know much about him and I haven't been able to find much on the internet. I believe he completed training in Canada and was a Navigator in Burma and possibly, Malta? I would be very grateful if someone could let me know anything about his RAF service? His service number is (165391).

    Best wishes,

Thank you, Peter and Jagan! Do you think it is likely he went on any active missions/sorties?

    yeoldbarn,
If he was in the ME, or FE, then a 'sprog' Nav would be required. Clearly not, if what you know is true, in the Euro "heavy mob". But if he'd made Flt Lt (Nav?) by 2 Jun 46 then he should have been reasonably good at his job. But he decides (or has been told) that he has no long-term career in the RAF, so he relinquishes wef 9 Nov 46.
His Service Record postings may give a clue as to what he was up to. Some of us more long in the tooth may be able divine his RAF career - or future lack thereof. Difficult!
