I've just heard from the RNZAF Museum but they have next to nothing in their archives re Russell Aitken (not surprising since he was RAF), but did advise that there is mention of his activities in a book by Pearson & Gorman. Has anyone further information, please?

Hi Col

I must put you on my Christmas card list! Excellent lead once again.

I hadn't realised that the book was a recent release. I was able to reference a digitalized version including the brief chapter on Digger Aitken. Nothing new, I'm afraid, but at least I am able to eliminate it from my ongoing research.
