Rescued crew from the sea, 20th february 1944, RAF Towyn

Hi all,
On 20th February 1944 Hawker Henley L3325 caught fire in th air and was ditched in the sea a few hundreds yards from shore, two miles south of the airfield RAF Towyn, its crew (pilot+winch operator) being picked up by launch. I´m looking for information which ASR unit picked up the crew, if so.

Neither launch or AS/R unit - they were picked up from the sea by a 2+1/2 ton army truck.

No.1 Amphibian Training Wing Royal Army Service Corp immediately sent three of their DUKWs from the seafront and rescued W/O Kania and LAC Gibson within 20 mins.

The same unit asked the next day for permission to salve the aircraft from the sea bed - this was given and they successfully brought the wreckage ashore and handed it over to No.34 MU.
