778245 Raymond Charles HILL (63804) RAFVR (enlisted in Rhodesia, June 1940)

Taken POW in Turkey* (01/06/1942). He then escaped and reported back in Cairo, January, 1943. Went missing again with 2 PRU RAF MAEF, on 29/01/1943**, and ended up a POW. POW camp: Campo PG49 PM 3200, PG21 Isettore PM 3300, Italy and Stalag Luft III in Silesia.
