6 (Observer) Advanced Flying Unit

I have a copy of some (Sept-Dec 1944) of this report (AIR 29-546) and it lists many courses starting/finishing but no lists of actual trainees attending them or where they were then sent. Does anyone know if such lists exist and if so where I might be able to find them?

Hello,

My Dad went through 5 (Observer) AFU about the same time and I encountered the same thing. I had my Dads logbook to cross reference the course number and dates, but that’s all I was able to do.

Thanks and I understood if you have the log book it helps. Unfortunately I don't have the log book which is causing me no end of issues in trying to trace my uncle despite having his service record. I also simply wondered whether I was missing anything obvious of where to look.
