Boeing 247 DZ203 in RAF Service

Hi Everyone,

I'm undertaking a little research on DZ203 prior to assembling a scale model kit... I've established that the aircraft served as a radar trials aircraft before being re-engined etc. I know it's a long shot but would anyone have any information on the interior layout when radar sets were installed etc. I'm assuming some seating would have been removed to accommodate them as the cabin is quite small.

What you seek is out there in the 2012, 214-page soft cover book Top Secret Boeing by Bob Shaw, put out by National Trust Croome in partnership with the Defford Airfield Heritage Group. Includes interior shots of the installed equipment and numerous references to documents held by the TNA at Kew.

ISBN 978-0-9547045-1-3.

One of those fascinating, less-well-documented topics.
