    Default 44 Squadron Aircraft

I was wondering if anyone would be able to confirm whether JA843 was the 44 Squadron aircraft that was flown back to the UK from Blida by Joe Petrie-Andrews (35 Squadron) after he had ditched in the sea off of Sardinia. The serial is recorded in one source that I have, but would like confirmation that this is correct

More information on the incident: https://35squadron.wordpress.com/201...r929-11111943/
