I’m sure he has some wrong in the far east . C V Windmill 938547 was definitely electrocuted accidentally at RAF seletar . I think , although I’ve not yet found it my jumbled notes for that area, that 938539 G Bamford, is incorrect too and that they have both been caught in a shotgun approach ?

The inquest into his death was reported in the Leicester Evening Mail, October 13th 1942. His motorcycle collided with an RAF van, and he died in hospital the next day from his injuries. The inquest heard that he cut a corner and was on the wrong side of the road when he collided with the van. A verdict of Accidental death was recorded by the Coroner.

Douglas Wilson 628821 died of injuries sustained in a road accident
Douglas Wilson's death was reported in the Leicester Evening Mail of February 22nd 1940. It records that he was killed in an accident in the black-out, when he was in collision with a motorcycle while walking along a road near his station.
