Kenneth Anderson 2302957 , attached to 62 Squadron RAF Regiment , was proceeding to Dimra Ranges for the Lloyd's Cup shoot in Ford 3 Ton truck 93916 driven by AC Marks, when it collided with Chevrolet 15 Cwt 95443 driven by AC Grubb. Anderson was fatally injured, dying en route to hospital at Bir Yacov

William Davidson 1350646 , attached to Number 1 PHU, was admitted seriously ill to RAF Hospital Halton on 14 August suffering with a tumour of the upper right jaw. He was transferred to the Westminster hospital, London on 4 October 1947, dying of a malignant tumour of the cheek.

William Davidson is the last Airman who died post war resting in Scotland to be fully accounted. EXCEPT for 1017102 John Henry Young of whom no trace, not even an official GRO reference, can be found
