    Hi Jon

X7360 was actually in a blackout block of DH Dominie Is, and I can't find a Beaufighter with the serial number 7360 (R, T, V, W or Z)?

I don't think T2060 is the correct serial for Cheyne. As can be seen at:
    http://www.rafcommands.com/database/...php?uniq=T2060
two different losses are associated with this serial. I think the 101 Sqn loss on 27 Aug 40 is the correct one.
Does anyone have any ideas about this 14 Sqn loss?

    Hello

T 2060 is on his file for the loss that date. It also mentions T 2066 on 26 August 1940 . Which is very close an aircraft number . I have no more idea than that sorry

    Hi Jon

Slight typo in the Service Number - should be 542686.

I thought it would be best to move deaths not related to enemy action to this thread.

1246954 Aircraftman 2nd Class Cyril Maynard

According to the burial record, AC2 Maynard died on December 13, 1942, at the Lenham Sanatorium in Kent, in all likelihood from a form of tuberculosis.
