    Hi Henk

    Maldrem - Surrey Mid East
    Maycock - Bridgend, Shropshire
Harris - Aylesbury (RAF Hospital Halton?)
Wrightham (not Wrightman) - probably lost on one of the balloon barges in the Humber, by the way Henk there is no county called Humberside now and it only existed from 1973 until the 1990's when we thankfully reverted to East Yorkshire.

Thanks Dave & Malcolm for quick response.
Dave: Re HARRIS: This is what I could find in the Flight Global info I've until end of 1943; may be corrected in 1944. For that reason also mentioned his place of burial. Have to wait until Dennis has time left to scan editions 1944.
    Regards,
    Henk.

I can't find Harris in the first half of 1944. The Raymond L Harris age 22 in the death register index was registered in the Apr-may-Jun quarter, the 23 Dec flight listing is most likely for the Sgt Roy L Harris of 172 Squadron listed on Runnymede 29 September 1943.

Our Harris perhaps is not listed in the flight listings.

    Hi Henk,

Maycock died at St Athan, not close to Shropshire as suggested.

    F1180 confirms

No.4 S of TT, Beaufighter V8456. Aircraftman walked into propeller.

    Hello

Cpl John E. MALDREM - 538548 - the National Probate Calendar records that he died at Horton Emergency Hospital, Epsom, Surrey.

Sgt (Pilot) Raymond L. HARRIS - 1334236 - his Grave Registration Report Form lists his unit as 20 (P) A.F.U.

AC1 Thomas W. WRIGHTMAN - 871037 - the Hull Daily Mail of May 5th reports that he was 'lost at sea.'

    Regards

    Simon

    Hi

I suspect Wrightman was working on one of the barges in the Humber Estuary operating balloons in defence of Hull, Grimsby and Immingham and possibly fell overboard.
