    Henk,
Isidore, note spelling(Ididore) from GRO is wrong... Grantham.
    Amann...Buckrose, East Riding of Yorkshire.
    Phelps....Oxford.
The 3 OTU Whitley only suffered Cat "A" damage as it swung after landing, so possibly no casualties to that one.

    Hi Henk
The registration for Isidore,is the right area for Normanton and DK982
A death at Cranwell would be recorded at Sleaford, but Normanton is also quite close. The problem is that both Sleaford and Grantham were taken over in about 1933 by larger areas,Sleaford and E Kesteven, and Grantham and W Kesteven but both get abbreviated on the register to just the 1st part of the title. Normanton is on the Grantham and W Kesteven list
    Regards
    Dick

It is sad to relate that one possibility put down for the cause of Isidore's accident was the pilot's distraction. He had received a telegram just before the flight to say his wife was very ill.
