    Cause of death ?

    HUGHES, George - Lac - 611663 - RAF.
    Halton ( St. Michael ) Churchyard, Buckinghamshire.
    Cause of death ?

    UK
    WHITELY, Brian Owen - Sgt(Pilot) - 741588 - RAF - 12 SFTS.
    Grantham Cemetery, Lincolnshire.
    [ Battle I - P6675 - 12 SFTS ].

    CHURCH, William Courtenay Antwiss - Lt(A) - HMS Sparrowhawk/ MS Ark Royal - RN - 801 Sqn.
    WILLIS, David George - S/Lt(A) - HMS Sparrowhawk/ HMS Ark Royal - RN - 801 Sqn.
    These two naval airmen were crew of Skua II L2931 - 801 Sqn FAA
    Both are commemorated on the Lee-on-solent Memorial, Hampshire..

    COLEBROOK, Bertie Archibald Wallace

    According to the Shields Dailey News of 17th May 1940 his body was washed up from the sea at Felixstowe. He apparently went into the water, from the pier head, in uniform a fortnight earlier.

    HUGHES, George - Lac - 611663 - the National Probate Calendar records his residence as Princess Mary Hospital, Hallton Camp.

    George Hughes 611663 , attached to RAF Calshot , died at 08:55 Hours in RAF Hospital, Halton, of tuberculosis peritonitis
