    What were the places of death registration for:
    Sgt (Pilot) Frederick J. BLENKINSOP - 1262353;
    ACW2 Elizabeth J. O'TOOLE - 446069, and
    AC2 William T. SPARKES - 932369,
    whose names I couldn't find in the Flight archives.

    Proposed aircraft losses:
    Blenheim I - L8661 - 51 OTU - crashed in forced landing Staughton Moor near St.Neots, Huntingdonshire.
    Blenheim IV - V6312 - 42 OTU - undershot landing Andover.

    Hi Henk
    Blenkinsopp,21, registered at St Neots,Huntingdonshire and recorded in Warner as killed on L8661 when an engine cut out causing the crash landing, Warner does not mention any other casualties.
    Sparkes,24, registered at E Glamorgan,S Wales
    I didn't find Elizabeth O'Toole in the register. On CWGC she is given the age of 19, is buried at Mortlake,in the Surrey part of S W London, and came from the E End of London
    Warner has no casualties on V6312 but the a/c is reported as DBF
    Regards
    Dick

    Thanks D&D. Found both BLENKINSOPP (with double D) and O'TOOLE (although O'Toole could not be found by way of the Full Reader Search).
    "SPARKES" for Dick sounds good; "SPARKEY" even better ! Sorry Dick.
    Enjoy the weekend,
    Henk.

    Both attached to Number 52 RSU, were killed in a lorry crash and 5 other airmen injured when returning to Wadi Sedna when a collision occurred with a BOAC lorry near Omdurman , resulting in the RAF lorry overturning
