    HOWES, Joan Myfanwy - Section Officer - 5136 - there's a Joan Howes, aged 35, registered Basingstoke.

    DONALD, James Walker - Cpl - 1060646 - the Statutory Deaths Register on the Scotland's People website records that he died at 3.45 p.m. at 'Aboyne,' Cults, Aberdeenshire [his home address], due to Pulmonary TB and cardiac failure. He is recorded as a Wine and Spirit Merchant.

    MASON, Claude Joshua - AC1c - 3031630 - the Western Morning News of February 25th 1947 reported the inquest into his death. It reports that he was attached to 238 M.U. and that he died from drowning in the River Tamar while on guard duty in an R.A.F. launch moored near R.A.F. Mount Batten. It is thought he slipped on the slippery deck and fell into the water.
