    DRURY, Richard Charles - Sgt - 1285260 - registered Lewisham.

    HUNTER, Alexander - LAC - 1361391 - the Falkirk Herald of October 25th 1947 reported that an Alexander Hunter, aged 41, of Partick, was found hanging from a tree at Braehead Strip. He was a motor driver, but had been unemployed for nine weeks and had been in poor health.

    OWEN, Desmond - LAC - 1148747 - a family tree on ancestry.co.uk records that he contracted TB whilst serving in India, and died at 139 Church Lane, Smethwick.

    Samuel Poulton 2332193 , attached to RAF Eastleigh , was killed on duty by an accidental gunshot wound dying in SSQ at Eastleigh

    He is the last RAF Airmen to be fully accounted South of the Equator in Africa
