    Default Unaccounted airmen - 15-7-1941

    What were the places of death registration for:

    W/O (Nav) Daniel GRAY - MM - 352269 (not in Chorley's vol.9);
    AC2 Hubert M. RICHARDS - 907188, and
    AC2 William SMALLMAN - 1129628 - 96 Sqn (Cranage, Cheshire).

    One proposed aircraft loss for this day:

    Magister I - N3921 - 24 EFTS - crashed; no further details.

    Regards and thanks for your help.
    Henk.

    Smallman is also DOAS in Flight magazine.

    I also added the death status for the 16 July 1941 on that days thread:

    I edited an old posting of mine in the thread to avoid pushing another thread off the forum. Check link Henk.

    Smallman was killed by the propeller of a Defiant.

    The F1180 is incorrectly dated and filed as 15th July 1942 instead of the correct 15th July 1941.
