    Dore, Joseph Lawson - Air Fitter - L/FX.7081144 - HMS Fieldfare - The Scotsman of November 13th 1945:

    MOTOR CYCLIST KILLED - Joseph Lawson Dore (29), a native of Surrey, stationed at the Royal Naval Air Station at Evanton, Ross-shire, received fatal injuries when his motor-cycle collided with a stationary truck at Bunchrew, on the Beauly-Inverness road. He died shortly after admission to the Royal Northern Infirmary, Inverness. Charles J. Willis (24), a native of Reading, who was riding on the pillion, ws seriously injured and is detained in the Infirmary.

    Rybczynski, Tadeusz - W/O (Pilot ) [Sierzant] - P.794539 - he was found shot dead on Westminster Bridge. Contemporary newspapers report an investigation into a possible murder, but the Shepton Mallet Journal of November 16th 1945 reports:

    Scotland Yard detectives investigating the death of the 26-year-old Polish airman, Wt. Off Tadeusz Rybczynski, found with a bullet wound in the heart on Westminster Bridge early on Sunday morning, have now ruled out foul play.

    The Birmingham Mail of December 5th 1945 reports a verdict of "suicide while the balance of his mind was disturbed" at the inquest.

    Williams, Lewis Richard - Cpl - 920891 - the National Probate Calendar records that he died at Netley Hospital, Southampton.

    Alex,

    Lewis Richard Williams was my father's cousin. He was a storekeeper at RAE and died of natural causes at The Royal Victoria Hospital. Netley.

    Lewis Richard Williams 920891 , was admitted seriously ill to the Royal Victoria hospital Netley on 2 September where he died from pemphigus vulgaris

    Geoffrey Colin Wilfred Meek 1387693 , was reported missing on 11 November. He was last seen in the Chinese quarters of the Mickey house restaurant in Batavia at approximately 18:45 Hours. In spite of intensive searches of the area, no trace of him was ever found and desertion or suicide was ruled out and it was concluded he had met his death on 11 November in unknown circumstances
