Christopher Arthur Strange 1667867 , attached to Number 79 EU, was discharged from CSQ at Chittagong on 27 September with instruction to report to Number 79 Embarkation Unit by 15:30 hours with the remainder of the day off duty . He never arrived and vanished without trace. He was NOT considered to have gone AWOL or deserted and an RAF SIB police investigation found no trace of him or any evidence
