Daltry was serving with '5 Wing, RAF Cosford' and died in RAF Hospital, Cosford, due to a 'diabetic coma'.

    Cheers, Tom

Walter Frank Frederick Tucker 1151261 , recorded as attached to Number 246 Squadron but this is believed to be an error, embarked at Bombay for the UK on 22 December 1943 after becoming seriously ill with Hodgkins disease on 4 January 1943. Disemabarking at Suez for admission to British general hospital Middle East, on 2 February 1944, he was listed as now dangerously ill with lymphadenoma. Embarked on HMHS Atlantis for the UK, he died on 7 February and was buried at sea.

I wonder if the Alamein Memorial would be more appropriate ?
