EDWARDS, Lilian Mary Bennett - the National Probate Calendar states that she died at West Hertfordshire Hospital, Hemel Hempstead. Her husband Leslie Victor Edwards was a Corporal in the R.A.F.

FOWKE, John Lionel - the National Probate Calendar states that he died 'on war service.' His death was announced in the Sevenoaks Chronicle of October 5th, which also states that he died at Nuffield House, Guy's Hospital, London. He is mentioned as being on the R.A.F. Regiment.

GABB, Thomas Nourse - death registered Gloucester Rural, December 1945. An article in the Gloucester Citizen of October 5th states that he died at the R.A.F. Hospital, Insworth.

HENDEN, Stanley - the inquest into his death is reported in the Western Gazette of October 12th 1945. His motorcycle was in collision with a U.S. Army lorry on the Ringwood Road, on the Hampshire-Dorset border near West Purley, and he died instantaneously. The Coroner recorded a verdict of Accidental Death. He was at the time stationed at Tarrant Rushton.

SCOTT, Richard - there is a Richard Scott, same age, whose death was registered in Norwich.

    Regards

    Simon
