    There were no names appended . Only a vague mention of being released two days later from a German hospital as the front moved forward so they may not even have moved from missing to POW status

    Charles Kitcher 705526 , attached to AHQ Malta, died in Number 90 General hospital of typhoid fever, 25 days after the onset of symptoms, dying of massive ulceratiin, haemorrhage and intense toxameia

    Harold Bernard Smith 108507 ,attached to RAF Allahabad, was admitted dangerously ill to Allahabad British military hospital on 7 December, where he died of enteric fever
