The ONLY outstanding Airman and Airwoman is 547179 William Robert Bailey 1942-07-18. I can find nothing on him anywhere . Not even a place of death. Can one of you take a stab at finding even his death location ?

He died 1941-07-18 according to CWGC

I think he died in Northern Ireland - There is at least 1 death of someone with name William Bailey on GRONI for years 1941-1942 - Need to but credits to see it. I have found also

HE was 95 and died on 24 April 1941

The Robert Bailey on GRONI was 21 and died on 1 May 1941 in Newry so that's not him either

Harry Roy Jefferies 572889 , attached to RCAF Mountain View , was seriously injured at 19:00 hours when he walked into the propeller of Anson J 7379. Admitted seriously to the Belleville General hospital where he died the following day
