Thanks Malcolm. As far as I can see no match to any of the proposed aircraft losses.

    Hi Henk

Northumberland Central covers Morpeth so the Bothas may be a possibility for Wignall

P/O E. A.P. MARTIN shows up DOAS in the Feb 11th Times Casualty list.

The other three men are not on that list!

    Hello

    AC1 James A. RHODES - 1517593 - nothing on Scotland's People. There's a James Rhodes, aged 33, registered December 1942 at Acle, Norfolk.

Fred Hugh Marriott, R.A.F. Regiment, whose home address was stated to be 2, Westwood Avenue, Swanpool, Lincoln, who succumbed almost immediately from a fifle shot wound believed to have been inflicted whilst he was practising loading his rifle in his billet the previous day.

P/O Eric A.P. MARTIN - 115837 - the Lincolnshire Echo of November 17th 1942 carried the following announcement:

MARTIN - On the 16th November, on active service (suddenly, of pneumonia), P/O Eric Anthony Procter Martin, R.A.F.V.R., age 21.

    Regards
