In the most recent tranche that I processed there were a couple of entries that had me thinking.

Both were of aircrew who baled out and were injured/wounded.. and had to be discharged after ailing for months/years. finally succumbing to their injuries. One of them was bomber crew held as a POW.. another was a test pilot who baled out of a spitfire. Their death occurred atleast two to three years after the catalyst event. Should we 'tie' these entries with an aircraft serial?

I think so Jagan, the aircraft serial number is directly responsible to their cause of death and they deserve the link to be known to my thinking

There are more of them too.

For example here's another who's actual details I've not yet added :

Gordon Atwood Tregaskis Davies 400365 , was shot down in Lancaster PB301 and you have him linked to that aircraft but with no real cause of his death which was in fact as part of Number
11 RAAF PDRC, and he died in the SSQ ( The unit was located in Brighton in the Grand and Metropole hotels ) after a fall from a window in one of those hotels.

    Hi Jon

"Alexander Glendinnig 87519 , was lost by enemy action at sea on board SS Chang Tai with a presumed date of death"

Are you sure of the ship, the SS Chang Tai is supposed to have been sunk as a blockship in the Yangtse in 1938?
