    George Robert Ingham 1466467 , died in Number 53 General hospital of typhoid 17 days after the onset of symptoms

    Edward Thomas Darby 647824 , attached to RAF Hospital, Aden and

    James Peter Wright 1330610 , attached to Aden E&S depot

    Were both killed when the truck in which they were travelling was struck by Blenheim V6290 as it took off at RAF Khormaksar.

    Neither was in the aircraft, nor where they attached to 8 Squadron

    Eric Leslie Wilson 1316300 , was flying in Wellington MP 723 which took off from Portville at 18:21 hours on 16 September on an armed shipping reconnisance to Civitivecchia. He was posted missing when the aircraft failed to return. On 25 February 1944, German totenliste 186 stated that he had died on 16 October 1943 in Piombino hospital and was buried the following day in the local cemetery , section 8, row 11, grave 1. The aircraft had been shot down by AA guns in Piombino harbour

    341112 is the Service Number of Cpl John Joseph Kempley Taylor, who died on November 24th 1944 aged 44 and whose death was registered at Durham NW. He's buried in Hebburn Cemetery:

    Kevin Brendan O'Brien 1904327 , was found drowned in the canal at Ath after escaping from close arrest in Hamburg. His body being removed to 106 General hospital.
