Hello. On June 15/16,1944 W/Cdr McLernon of 408 Squadron took F/Lt Devon to Boulogne, not part of the flt crew. The notation in a logbook shows F/Lt Devon (photo). Does anyone have any idea who he was, full name?. Could be someone from Linton on Ouse base?
Thanks Richard.

Thanks for that bit of info Dave. Would he have a RAF service number?

We might not know - but we might know who does!
Hi Peter,
In looking for his number I came across that one.
But I also found 143126 Stanley Arthur Devon, appointed to commission as F/Lt (emergency) 17 November 1942, seniority 5 December 1941:

So which one is correct?

Thanks for the replies. Would he still show up as in general duties in the Air Force list or a different category. Seems like both mentioned are in there.
Richard.
