New Book on the wartime exploits of Doug Nicholls DFC

A new book detailing the wartime exploits of Doug Nicholls, WW2 Hurricane and Spitfire pilot is available as a free download from the website of Montrose Air Station Heritage Centre (www.rafmontrose.org.uk/ofotg).

Doug Nicholls spent a considerable amount of his service in Sumatra, Ceylon and Burma and the book may help researchers looking into that theatre.

Having downloaded it, I would highly recommend the book as essential reading for anyone with interest in RAF in SEAC - especially dealing with Hurricane units.
