STORM = Arne (Flight Engineer, N.807)

There were a number of Norwegians who served with 35 Squadron (many of them losing their life) and I am assuming other squadrons in Bomber Command. A memorial in Oslo, commemorates them, along with those that served in Coastal Command

    Hi Peter and Simon,

Boisvert's RCAF number was R138702. Arrived at No. 419 Sqn 4 August 1943. Enlisted in the USAAF at No. 12 Replacement Depot, Chorley, Lancs 2 September 1943. Given rank of Technical Sgt. https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/...ene-h-boisvert

I recall problems with the service number of James Leo Brazil and several other Newfoundlanders in the RAF. Must dig up my notes.

    Regards,

    Dave
