As a Flight Engineer, this N.C.O. has frequently demonstrated his skill. He has taken part in 56 bombing attacks against the enemy and his keenness to fly on operations is undiminished. His coolness under the heaviest fire has earned him a fine reputation amongst the Flight Engineers in the squadron. It is considered that Flight Sergeant Monk's record of many attacks successfully carried out fully merits the non-immediate award of the Distinguished Flying Medal.

Hi, many thanks for the swift reply, do you know if all his OPs were with 35 Sqn or did he fly with other Sqn's?
    Thanks again,
    Rick
