    Default 162 Squadron SM79

    Hello Forumites
I am researching 162 (INTEL) Squadron (Wellingtons in the Middle East) and have come across a couple of interesting conundrums...
In early 1942, according to the ORB, the squadron not only took over some ex109 squadron Signal Detachment Wellingtons, but also acquired a (Hawker) Hart, coded “106”, as well as an SM79 (Savoia Marchetti) aircraft for Comms purposes. They were issued from Heliopolis, and the SM79 was probably an ex Yugoslavian model. Could it have been AX705, and what also, was the identity of the Hart??
Any thoughts would be most welcome!
