No.148 Squadron

Hi,

Any 148 Squadron 'experts' on here.

Looking to see if a F/O C Jerromes DFC flew with the squadron between 1943-1945. Family believe shot down in a Lysander southern France, escaped in Spain?

Hi Steve, I've got some 148 records and will have a look, but Oliver Clutton-Brock's book "Trusty" will have the info I suspect. Unfortunately I haven't a copy to hand.

Edit: can't find him on the monthly returns for November or December 1944.

No mention of him in "Trusty to the End" or in Oliver's "RAF Evaders".

Several mentions of him in the archives of this forum.
