    Bib could you do me a favour please an post what it says about J F Payne on I think page 58 ?

    Does it identify him by any more name I assume he had emigrated to Australia post war

    Just says he was a Yorkshireman from Hull. There is reference to him on a couple of other pages.

    Paul,
    Is this the same area as covered by Leo Marks "Between Silk and Cyanide"? There is still a lot of un-said stuff about this. In my opinion, a lot of agents (and aircrews) lives might have been saved if those in power/command had listened carefully to Marks' warnings? Cultural differences?
