Default No.3 Group Air Crew School

    Hi,

Can anyone please explain where this was based circa 1943/44 and what actually took place here.

    TIA

Steve Sturtivant - Flying training and support units since 1912, pg. 155 stated only

Formed 10.44 at Stradishall, 6.10.44 Shepherds Grove, 1.11.44 Gamston, redesignated No. 3 Aircrew School 3.11.44 on transfer to No. 7 Group.

So I am afraid it will be not of much use to you.

I have read that "Aircrew School" was new name of former "Batlle School" used by the No. 6 RCAF Group for example.
