    Alex,
    A few notes:

    WHITE, Leslie James - Sgt - 522656 - RAF.
    Coxyde Military Cemetery, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium.
    Spitfire I - N4761 - 222 Sqn.
    >> N4761 is an Oxford serial, it was N3232: http://discovery.nationalarchives.go...ls/r/C14502490

    ATACK, Dallas - Sgt - 631239 - RAF.
    BRIDGE, James - Sgt - 620409 - RAF.
    DOWNHAM, Edward Alan - Sgt - 580712 - RAF.
    McLEAN, John - Sgt - 523836 - RAF.
    SIMMONS, Robert Colin - F/O - 39344 - RAF.
These five airmen were crew of Wellington Ic - R9288 - 37 Sqn
    >> Serial was P9288

    LEGARD, William Ernest - F/O - 34045 - RAF.
    Spitfire I - P9344 - 41 Sqn.
    >> P9344 is not a valid serial, as discussed previusly at:

N3107 and P9314 would seem to be the best candidates for the two 41 Sqn losses that day.

    Regards,
    Andy

    Thanks Andy,
Don't know what happened, with N3232. I had it written down, perhaps the machine chose the other number ?

BCL vol 1 1939-1940 edition does have P9288, see page 141.

Also, FCL vol1(revised) has on page 38 P9344.
So must have been P9314 ?

    Thanks,
    Alex
