    Hello

    FRANCE
HULSE, Cecil Laing - P/O - 70860 - the Aberdeen Weekly Journal of June 27th 1940 reported that he died after a recent operation for appendicitis. IBCC records that he 'died in Hospital on the 4th June of an illness not connected with operations'.

    UK
ADAMS, Dennis Norman - Lac - 908974 - the Croydon and the Second World War memorial book on ancestry.co.uk records that he died due to pneumonia at R.A.F. Hospital Littleport, Cambs.

BATE, Thomas Charles - ADM 104 records the date of his death as June 4th 1940.

PHUR, William Frederick - AC2c - 963359 - the Western Mail of June 7th 1940 reported the inquest into his death. It records that at about 11.00 pm he fell from the back of a lorry carrying milk churns and suffered a fractured skull. It was thought that Phur climbed into the back of the lorry, which was giving lift to two other airmen in the cab, without the knowledge of the driver. A witness saw one of the churns and Phur fall into the road. No blame was attached to the driver of the lorry. Phur died of his injuries at the Bridgend Infirmary, and a verdict of 'Accidental death' was recorded.
