DOAK, Joseph - AC2c - 965128 - the Biggleswade Chronicle reported that he died whilst bathing in a pool close to Arlesey level crossing. His body was discovered three days later. The pool was a disused clay pit, up to 90 feet deep in places and regarded as a dangerous place for bathing.
