    Hi Alex,

    WILSON, John - Cpl - 807066 - RAF (AAF) - 608 Sqn.
Billingham ( St. Cuthbert ) Churchyard, Durham, UK.
    Cause of death ?
    AIR 27/2097/19
"Cpl WILSON killed in airscrew accident (during blackout)"

This link gives Anson N5206 and more details

    Also,

    DAVIS, Samuel Percy - AC2c - 613079 RAF
CWGC grave registration notes his unit as '37 MU' - hopefully this might help someone dig a little further

    Regards,

    Jeff

    Alex,
These two seem to have got confused. 14 FTS did indeed have a mid-air collision on that day, which was between Oxford N4638 and a Harvard, which the Air Britain serials books says was P5811. If it was P5811, then it survived to be transferred to the SRAF in Jan 41.
Could all four men have been on board the Oxford? Or, is the quoted Harvard serial incorrect?
    Andy

The A-B book states the Harvard was P5817 not P5811

    Hello Andy & Malcolm,
Thank you both for the details of the four airmen.
    I now is clear.
    Oxford - N4638
    Lawson & Ashley.

Harvard - P5811 or P5817, ( AB's "The Harvard File" has the a/c as P5817 and details the collision with Oxford N4638 ).
Sgt Lefaux & Sgt. Follows. ( CWGC has Follows Not Fellows).

Too late to edit my first post.

Just checked my paperwork, I did have written down, Harvard P5817 for Follows and Lefaux.
So my error in post 1.

    Many thanks
    Alex
